Bob's role at Austin McGregor follows a leadership role for all day-to-day operations of Synergy America, Inc., a technology services company focused on providing various business applications including outsourcing services. Bob brings more than 20 years of successful experience in senior management roles with three industry leaders and Fortune 500 companies and possesses a broad range of leadership acumen in strategic talent assessment, organizational design, consulting, executive coaching, and sales management.
Prior to Synergy America, Bob led Answerthink Consulting, .through significant corporate transitions and organizational integrations associated with several mergers and acquisitions taking the company to the next level. During his 17-year tenure with MCI Telecommunications, Bob was an instrumental contributor in spearheading one of the growth areas in the commercial division where the company experienced the financial growth and success that resulted in MCI becoming a world leader in telecommunications. In addition to conceptualizing and launching effective HR strategies that supported multi-dimensional business objectives, Bob also led a major shift from a cost-based to an asset-based human resources philosophy. His executive roles included positions as Vice President of Human Resources for Business Markets as well as various management roles. Bob's ground work in human resources, labor, and business development began as a Regional Manager for Xerox Corporation where he demonstrated strong abilities to both support as well as manage aggressive sales efforts. Consequently, he is well versed in all facets of account acquisition, client management, revenue building, and business partnering.
Bob has been active in the Atlanta Telecom and Technology community for the past 20 years. He is an active member in the Gwinnett Technology Forum, MIT Forum, Technology Association of Georgia, and previously an active member of the CEO High Tech Counsel. Bob lives in Duluth with his wife and two children and is a graduate of Michigan State University. |
